Join us for a memorable culinary experience at the Farm!

The featured chef is Chef James Arbaugh.  Chef James is the Executive Chef at both Lua Brewery and Either / Or.  Chef James is a Philadephia native and he studied at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He was formerly the chef de cuisine for four years at Plumed Horse, a Michelin-star restaurant in the San Francisco Bay area. 

The meal will feature local produce, proteins, and other items. Enjoy food, and drink, with friends & family while experiencing our sustainable urban farm.

The festivities begin at 5:00 PM (CDT) with social time to drink and meet others. At 5:30 owners Jenny & Eric will give a farm tour, discuss what is growing, and answer any questions you may have about the farm.

Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM outside in the DUG green space.

Our Story

We are an urban farm located in Des Moines, Iowa known for our organically grown salad greens as well as other seasonal crops. We have evolved into a destination in Des Moines to support local growers, makers, and producers.
